When administering the analgesics, the suction of the drainage does not have to be interrupted. The outlet openings in the IPA-CATH analgesia catheter are located above the drainage eyes. Loss of analgesic is thus avoided.

The dual lumen allows painkillers to be administered without further manipulation and with simultaneous drainage.
